Hi parents!
The coaches and the swim board are so excited for tomorrow's first practice at 10am! It's been TWO years since we have been together as a swim family and could not be more excited to see our wonderful families and swimmers!
As you may know, lots of changes have taken place in the last 24 hours as it relates to mask mandates. The City of Brownsboro Farm is following Covid restrictions and guidelines at Gov Beshear's office. The City of Brownsboro Farm is the governing body over the swim team and we must adhere to their restrictions and guidelines. In our LSA meeting last night, the LSA board recommended that each swim club follow their governing body's restrictions and guidelines for Covid safety.
After careful consideration, LSA board meeting last night and speaking with the City of Brownsboro Farm commision, we have made the decision to continue the use of masks for the swimmers and coaches while on the pool deck. When the swimmers are in the pool, obviously they will not wear a mask. There will be 3 swimmers at each end of the pool. With the number of swimmers in each age group, this is definitely achievable at a safe level. 

Until we receive more clarity from the governing officials, we are going to err on the side of caution.
If you are fully vaccinated, you are encouraged to wear a mask but we will leave it to your discretion. Based on the current Healthy at Work Guidelines dated 4/19/21 and the size of our pool, 71 people are allowed inside the gate at this time. 

If you are an experienced parent of the Brownsboro Farm Swim Team, we ask that you linger outside the pool deck on the patio where the grill and firepit are located. If you are a new family and swimmer to our team and 10& under swimmers, you are welcome to join your swimmers inside the pool deck.
Our hope is by June 11th, we will remove all of the restrictions (as per the governor's latest mandate and our City Commission).
