Hi Marlins!

The coaches were so pleased with how practice went today! Thank you to everyone for hopping in and getting going even if the water was a tad chilly! I will say I have talked to several other swim teams in our division...and we start earlier and get more practice in...which I know will work in our favor once the meets begin! 

We know Saturday practices can be crazy and overwhelming and so we decided on a time change for Saturdays to have less kids in the pool at a time! From now on...7 and up will practice from 9:30am-10:30am and 6 and under will be from 10:30-11am. Like I told many of you, during the week things are a bit calmer! :) 

We will be having a swimsuit swap at next Saturday's practice! So if you have an old swim team or swim team practice suit/jammer you want to get out of your house...please bring them! Amanda Colpo will be taking care of that at practice. We also have Marlins swim caps for sale for $15. Our prices went up so we are selling them this year, but everyone will be getting a new Marlins t-shirt this year...thanks to our wonderful sponsors! Thank you to Megan Bartley with The Louisville Mindfulness Center, Laura Mosher Realtor with Semonin and Cardinal Aquatics! I am also setting up a Bonfire fundraiser site that will have youth and adult sized t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks, and more for sale and a portion of the proceeds will go back to the team! I will send that link soon and they will be shipped directly to you! 

Don't forget to head to our events page on the website to RSVP for the swim team BBQ which is on May 22nd at 6PM. You can also declare your swimmer for swim meets there and volunteer for jobs.
